Stewart Thomas
I design digital experiences that connect people and technology through empathy and understanding.
In my journey from graphic design to UX design within the death-care industry, I've had the unique privilege of designing for some of the most vulnerable users, families navigating incredibly sensitive moments.
Originally creating plaques for families as a graphic designer, I later moved into UX Design, crafting digital solutions allowing families to design the plaques themselves.
My experience in the death-care industry has taught me to put empathy and compassion at the core of my design process. It showed me how crucial it is to craft experiences that are not only intuitive but also deeply considerate of the emotional journey the user is on.
Within my UX process, I've carried that forward, leading with empathy for the user as the foundation of all my work to create intuitive, meaningful digital experiences that genuinely help people, ensuring my work is purposeful and user-first.
